Thunderbirds are Go

SET BUILDER, PROPMAKER & ON-SET MODEL TECHNICIAN

In the lead up to Season One and Season Two of the  television series Thunderbirds are Go, I was part of the team building the physical miniature environments, sets and vehicles.

During filming I was in the small shoot crew as a Model Technician, operating the practical effects, puppeteering and set dressing.

A typical day could include set building, foam sculpting, laser cutting, 3D printing, painting, model making, rigging an avalanche, wrangling smoke effects or bursting miniature dams.
